Jacob Holland
Articling Student
Jacob Holland is an Articling Student at Porter Ramsay. Born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Vernon, British Columbia, Jacob has strong roots in the Okanagan and is pleased to be building his legal career in the community he calls home.
Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon in May 2024. During law school, he participated in the Trusts and Estates Clinical Program, where he gained practical experience supporting clients with estate planning matters. He also completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in April 2021.
Jacob began his articling term with Porter Ramsay in October 2025 and is expected to be called to the bar in October 2026. He is interested in continuing to grow his experience while working on a broad range of legal matters and developing a well-rounded practice. In his free time, Jacob enjoys taking in all that the Okanagan has to offer.
